Eastwood Guitars was a small unknown Canadian company taking on the world’s two largest guitar brands. It wanted to turn the industry upside down by selling direct to consumers online and then expand into retail stores. Eastwood was a disrupter looking for a branding partner.
The Solution
“I get it” – Eastwood’s brand positioning, is based on what their customers are saying about them. In the guitar world there are two types of guitarist. One is the huge market that supports the traditional guitars like Gibson “Les Pauls” and Fender “Stratocasters” and the other smaller market that is looking for something different – like an Eastwood, they “get it”.
