Jason has been in the scientific community for over 30 years. He has a number of publications in peer-reviewed journals on such topics as COVID-19, SARS, Zika, and avian flu and has written several books, chapters, position papers for reports and magazine and newspaper columns.

Jason is known as ‘The Germ Guy’ and is the host of the Canada’s top science podcast ‘Super Awesome Science Show’ on the Curiouscast Network and is the co-writer of the Say What! podcast series the ‘Science of Brand Chronicles”.

Jason also is a regular contributor to media. He is featured regularly on various radio and television stations in Canada and worldwide.

Jason has published ‘The Germ Code’  in 2013 and short-listed for Book of The Year by the Science Writers and Communicators of Canada and ‘The Germ Files’ in 2016 which appeared on the Globe and Mail national bestseller list.

Grant is the co-founder of say what! Communications and has an extensive background in creative problem solving and digital brand marketing.

As the co-writer and ‘The Brand Guy’ of the say what! podcast series, the ‘Science of Brand Chronicles’, he shares his passion for interesting brand stories and how they connect with science.

He also is a part-time college professor at Seneca College in the marketing strategies, business of design, and digital & media applications course in the Graphic Design and Event Management programs.

Grant builds brands that stand out in an intensely competitive and changing digital media landscape through the say what! “brandLove” process.

Grant’s motto is: “Brands are built, not created”.

In her role at say what! Jo provides overall marketing guidance and project co-ordination. Her entrepreneurial nature has been a key factor in the say what! expansion into new ventures.
